Mark Marklein
Sales Support Specialist
Mark plays a key role in supporting our sales and administrative teams as they work with elder law and estate planning attorneys to deliver the best outcomes for clients. His daily responsibilities include fielding phone calls, processing applications, and assisting planners to ensure clients receive timely, high-quality service. By handling many of the logistical details, Mark helps keep our planners focused on planning while ensuring attorneys and their clients have the tools they need to resolve complex crisis planning scenarios quickly and accurately.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in media production with a minor in communications from Northern Michigan University. His career began in broadcast television, where he worked for the WB and later the CW Network in Green Bay. He went on to gain experience in cable advertising and campaign planning as well as clinical appeals in Medicaid community plans, where he became well-versed in the state-by-state regulatory complexities of Medicaid. Mark is also a licensed life and health insurance agent.
With strengths as a communicator, analytical thinker, and team player, Mark is passionate about helping families navigate the challenges of long-term care and crisis planning. Having seen the impact of these issues firsthand with his own grandparents, he values the importance of providing meaningful solutions with empathy and efficiency. His positive attitude, love of teamwork, and problem-solving skills drive his commitment to serving both clients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his husband, Brandon, and staying active in the community through local theater productions. When not at rehearsals or cheering on his nieces and nephew at dance recitals and little league games, Mark loves to travel. His adventures have taken him to London, Australia, New Zealand, Paris, Greece, and often to New York City to catch the latest Broadway shows.
