Damon Wenig, MBA, CFSP

Damon’s main priority is connecting with internal and external stakeholders to further develop our funeral product offerings. He spends much of his time educating clients about the various funeral products as well as working with funeral directors to build a holistic funding journey for individuals in Medicaid crisis planning.

Damon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, his Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, and his Degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College. Damon has extensive experience working in the funeral funding space, also having owned and operated his family’s funeral homes in Wisconsin. In these roles, Damon learned what it’s like to work directly with consumers as well as with agents during the funeral planning process. Damon is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) and has his life insurance license.

Damon truly believes funeral products represent more than just a vehicle for asset preservation. They represent a level of care for the consumer and their families. After all, planning for the inevitable is a vital step in the asset preservation process. Not only does funeral planning allow our attorneys to build rapport with their clients, but it also ensures the policyholder’s wishes are recognized upon their passing while alleviating the burden on their loved ones. He appreciates the opportunity to help people in this industry by creating smart and applicable solutions for families to preserve their legacies.

Outside of work, Damon enjoys spending time with his wife Johannah and their two boys, Walter and Louis. He also loves traveling, working out, hiking, reading, and pretending he has a green thumb.
